Vampire Love Story: Jacqueline's Death

Yeah, it's a love story involving a vampire falling in love with a human. Shuttup, someone was talking about Twilight at work and I got to thinking of an actual reason why a vampire would love a human, and this story has a reason. You don't know it yet from this burp, but I'll get to it.

"No," he said, grabbing the knife in the girls hand, "I will not continue living as an emotionless husk, only following orders. I will change her, and if I die, all the better."

"Plan B it is. Everything is in order I hope?"

"Yes, plan B, and everything is ready for you two."

He took the knife from her hand and knelt beside Jacqueline. "You can't sleep yet," he told her, shaking her slightly.

Her eyes fluttered open, "It hurts," she moaned.

"The pain will stop soon," he leaned over her, poising the knife over her heart, "I have to tell you something first. I love you, more than anything in this world. I make my own destiny, no prophecy is going to dictate what I do."

Jacqueline smiled, a tear rolled down her cheek, "I love you too," she mouthed.

He bit his lip, blood welled on his lips. A drop fell on her cheek, making her flinch. Her smile grew wider as she realized what he was going to do. He leaned down to, she raised her head slightly, meeting his kiss. With a sickening crunch, he plunged the knife deep into her heart, shattering her ribs. He continued kissing her as the life left her body, blood flowing down the sides of her face, mingling with her tears and snot on her cheeks and hair.

He leaned back on his heels tentatively, smiling. He was still alive, proof that he can change his so-called destiny. He tore of one of his sleeves, using it to clean Jacqueline's face. He picked her limp body up and kissed her forehead, "We will see you in a week," he said to the two women standing next to him.

Caterin beat him to the door, blocking it, "You can't stay in the changing room with her the entire time. Your hunger when you come out will endanger all of us, especially since she will be a thirsty new-born."

Adrian piped up behind him, "You're not supposed to be in there when she's remembering anyways. Go put her in there, then hang with us, she'll be fine in there on her own. She's not exactly going anywhere."

He ignored her failed attempt at a joke, "No, I don't want to leave her alone. But you're right, I can't risk jeopardizing you guys. Come and get me in three days, I can control my thirst for that long easy."

Caterin hesitated, she still didn't like him going so long without feeding. Reluctantly she opened the door and hurried to open the changing room's heavy door. He followed along quickly, almost beating Caterin to the closed door. He gently lowered Jacqueline onto the bed, cinching the straps around her limbs and torso.

Caterin was standing in the doorway, "Three days," she said sternly. The heavy door thuds shut, and he can hear the bolts grind into place. He sits on the head of the bed, brushing stray hairs off Jacqueline's face. Slowly he sits up straight, his body falling into his usual meditation position. He smiles, Nine days left.

Yeah, there's a lot of "he" in there, I couldn't think of a name for him (open to suggestion).
