Awesome dream. That got interrupted.

Pull up to a large hotel, park and walk in. Hundreds of kids mill around in a giant hall (seemingly second floor, railing around a large rectangular hole in middle). We file out onto buses, drive into a city. File into a giant round theater, seats are around giant round pillar in center, screens on outer wall. We enter through center pillar. Sit with a band, comment that it's times like these I wish I had my clarinet. Someone yells at me down the row, holds up my clarinet case.

Show ends, we're told to we have to return to the hotel on our own (doesn't occur to me in the dream how far hotel is since we bussed in). Wander through city, meet up with some girl and wander by stores before entering one. T-shaped theater with tiered seating at each end of the T, each facing a cloth hanging on the opposite wall. White board names 3 shows playing (Excel Saga, Robotech, something else?). Girl I went in with sits in the row behind, sprawled on 2 seats. I watch some, then leave. Pass two girls on a grass hill looking for the one I was with, point them toward the theater (both were just shadows). Keep walking through the park, come upon rows of condos, all the same, all painted white or yellow. Suns up now as I wander through the rows of condos.

The start out spaced apart, then get closer together and start looking odd before they're just giant shelves. Wander through the shelves, someone is behind me, not following just heading in same direction. A couple shelves have doors, out of curiosity I kick a door open. A big dog lays inside, growls. I keep moving, not out of fright but apathy. I hear the dog tear out of the room, growling, toward a pair of girls. Person following me turns and follows dog. Hear girls say he has a tumor, they don't get attacked. Continue walking, turns into a hill, shelves no longer have doors. Hill gets really steep, come upon short, grassy cliff. Look around for a way up, see a girl on my left hiding in the shelves shadows. I smile, grab a short shelve and put it at the base of the cliff. Girl steps out, says something about us being told to be calm and not run(?). I look at her and smile, but continue piling small shelves, then climb up, with her following.

We're in a dark room, with garbage on the floor, clearly no used for a long time. We're talking, but I'm not sure what about. She mentions that she's not a she or a he, but more of a hey (said in the stereotypical gay way). He has dirty blond hair, pulled back in a ponytail. He's wearing a green jacket, possibly with Tinkerbell on the left breast. He's slightly shorter than I. We're wandering around and looking when we come to the end of a hallway. It ends in a drop (~5 ft) that opens up to a taller hall. On the wall to the left is another sheet hanging like a screen. A movie suddenly starts playing, two guys tied to chairs with chains around their necks. A motor starts, the chains tighten around the mens neck, choking them and eventually beheading them. I look around quickly, the movie can't have started itself. I see his ponytail bob around a corner of the deeper hallway on the left and look down to see a rope jangling (apparently the trip wire). I drop down and follow.

At the end of the hall are two plush leather chairs with straps, they seem familiar. I turn the corner to the right, short hall, and again. He's standing in front of an open door. I look in and see another empty dark empty room with trash littered on the ground (reminiscent of Fallout 3, but didn't notice that in the dream). We hear something strange in the hallway we just left. I take her hand and we peak around the corner. 2 guys dressed in black robes are chaining two guys into the chairs like in the film, the lights flicker like lightening. The guys are struggling and screaming. We both scream and run down the hall with the room. It eventually lightens and we turn a corner to find ourselves in the lobby of the hotel, towards the back. I rush up to friends leaning on the railing, dragging him with me by the hand. They ask how I got back since I wasn't on the bus. I tell them we got back through a haunted house (extremely ecstatic and flustered from the running). I turn to him and we're both smiling and out of breath, then we hug tightly laughing. We pull back, still smiling, then kiss.

Then I wake up, cursing. Roll over and get back to sleep.

I comment that I should get home. Still holding my hand, he says not yet, I have to wait for his ride. Then he asks the time, suddenly jumpy. It's 11pm. Says his parents have already left, they would only wait until 1030. He runs to the phone at the counter, dragging me. He has a conversation on the phone, they're not going to pick him up. He turns to me with down-turned eyes, says they're not going to come back for him in a sad voice. I smile at him, offer a to drive him.

And wake up again.

Vampire Love Story: Ethan

Lyle was sitting in the front corner of the cafe, the corner people rarely look. He was sipping his tea when the kid walked in. Normally a teenager wouldn't attract his attention, but this kid was using an umbrella on a sunny day. The kid stopped inside the door and looked around as he closed his umbrella. When their eyes met the kid's open wide in shock, but only for a brief second before looking away.

Lyle leaned back and closed his eyes. He started going through all the memories the Sight reminded him of when he saw the kid. His name was Ethan, around twelve years old and a vampire. Ethan had been hit by a bus about a year ago. A very old vampire by the name of Tompson saw the accident, felt bad for the boy, and changed him.

"I can't See you," Ethan said, sitting down silently beside Lyle, "Which means you're either a vampire or a ..."

"Can't I be both?" Lyle interrupted. He looked over at the kid, "Aren't you a little young to be drinking coffee?" There is a resemblance. Doesn't mean I have to like it.

"Heh, how befitting, you sound like my father. I'm plenty old enough to be drinking coffee. It's just a ruse anyways, same as you're doing."

"What I'm doing is not a ruse kid, I happen to still enjoy the taste of tea. Especially now that I can't burn my tongue on the damned hot nectar."

They sat in uneasy silence, watching the people interact around them, oblivious of the deadly presence in the room. Lyle finished his coffee and stood up, "Let Tompson know that I'll be stopping by later to see my son." With that, Lyle donned his hat and walked out the door, leaving Ethan stunned in his corner seat.

Vampire Love Story: Jacqueline's Death

Yeah, it's a love story involving a vampire falling in love with a human. Shuttup, someone was talking about Twilight at work and I got to thinking of an actual reason why a vampire would love a human, and this story has a reason. You don't know it yet from this burp, but I'll get to it.

"No," he said, grabbing the knife in the girls hand, "I will not continue living as an emotionless husk, only following orders. I will change her, and if I die, all the better."

"Plan B it is. Everything is in order I hope?"

"Yes, plan B, and everything is ready for you two."

He took the knife from her hand and knelt beside Jacqueline. "You can't sleep yet," he told her, shaking her slightly.

Her eyes fluttered open, "It hurts," she moaned.

"The pain will stop soon," he leaned over her, poising the knife over her heart, "I have to tell you something first. I love you, more than anything in this world. I make my own destiny, no prophecy is going to dictate what I do."

Jacqueline smiled, a tear rolled down her cheek, "I love you too," she mouthed.

He bit his lip, blood welled on his lips. A drop fell on her cheek, making her flinch. Her smile grew wider as she realized what he was going to do. He leaned down to, she raised her head slightly, meeting his kiss. With a sickening crunch, he plunged the knife deep into her heart, shattering her ribs. He continued kissing her as the life left her body, blood flowing down the sides of her face, mingling with her tears and snot on her cheeks and hair.

He leaned back on his heels tentatively, smiling. He was still alive, proof that he can change his so-called destiny. He tore of one of his sleeves, using it to clean Jacqueline's face. He picked her limp body up and kissed her forehead, "We will see you in a week," he said to the two women standing next to him.

Caterin beat him to the door, blocking it, "You can't stay in the changing room with her the entire time. Your hunger when you come out will endanger all of us, especially since she will be a thirsty new-born."

Adrian piped up behind him, "You're not supposed to be in there when she's remembering anyways. Go put her in there, then hang with us, she'll be fine in there on her own. She's not exactly going anywhere."

He ignored her failed attempt at a joke, "No, I don't want to leave her alone. But you're right, I can't risk jeopardizing you guys. Come and get me in three days, I can control my thirst for that long easy."

Caterin hesitated, she still didn't like him going so long without feeding. Reluctantly she opened the door and hurried to open the changing room's heavy door. He followed along quickly, almost beating Caterin to the closed door. He gently lowered Jacqueline onto the bed, cinching the straps around her limbs and torso.

Caterin was standing in the doorway, "Three days," she said sternly. The heavy door thuds shut, and he can hear the bolts grind into place. He sits on the head of the bed, brushing stray hairs off Jacqueline's face. Slowly he sits up straight, his body falling into his usual meditation position. He smiles, Nine days left.

Yeah, there's a lot of "he" in there, I couldn't think of a name for him (open to suggestion).
